Spanish marble, although not as famous as its Italian cousins has been quarried for over 5,000 years. This marble adorns the Alhambra in Grenada, where construction began in 1238. In 1492 Christopher Columbus received the royal endorsement for his expedition to America from Ferdinand and Isabella in the Alhambra.

Reclaimed true antique Spanish grey and white marble. Reclaimed from houses and churches in Spain. It is becoming extremely rare and expensive, but the overall look and patina is absolutely stunning. We have various lots in stock, grey and white, black and white and simply white.

Hand Antiqued spanish grey and white marble is slightly pillowed and slightly distessed with a low hone. This recently laid floor will patina overtime and become more like a true antique within a short time.
