Antique Bourgogne

This re-claimed limestone is perhaps the oldest reclaimed flooring material in France , sourced from the Bourgogne region of France. When re-claimed it is approximately 2 1/2” – 3 ½” thick , the patina on the face is just amazing , slightly pitted and polished by foot traffic over the centuries , in colors of brown, gold and Taupe.
The material is cut in thickness to a thickness1 ¼” for the top face , 1” for the second face which is the distressed and sold as a separate second face product and bottom face, which shows the original tooling of the underside of the stone , this is far too rough for flooring so is sold used to create exquisite facades or wall cladding.
