Shown here are sections of limestone fireplaces. The modern bolection, the 17th century French, the Westport, and the Oslo. All Fireplaces are designed and made to fit the room, being made in the right proportion and material to fit the house and decor. We design and draw a fireplace in CAD with a 3D view and then build it custom from a large variety of materials.

These are reclaimed antique French Fireplaces. Although you have to accept the size, you can add slips and blocks to make them fit your space. Some of the simpler farmhouse types are surprisingly affordable.
Another option is to have a fireplace built in a traditional stone and have it hand antiqued. Shown here are some examples of what you can achieve in an aged or patinated look encompassing the design and specifications you want.
