Here we can see the exquisite black and white marble columns, sculptured and set to support the arched roof without steel or concrete. One can only imagine the awe that it would have inspired in 1250 among the population of Siena.
The Marble floors are no less awe inspiring and have very much stood the test of time.
The floor borders are just as inspiring, and the geometric patterns will form the basis of a new collection from Versailles Surfaces.
